Sympower, a renewable energy technology company headquartered in the Netherlands, partnered with WeAreCareer to support outgoing employees through structured career transition and outplacement services. As the company continued evolving in a fast-moving market, leadership wanted to ensure impacted employees received professional, modern, and personalized support throughout their transition process.

Rather than relying on traditional one-size-fits-all outplacement providers, Sympower sought a more flexible and technology-enabled partner that could provide personalized career coaching, profile optimization, practical job search support, and real-time communication for participants across different career levels. Following a successful initial engagement, Sympower continued sending additional outgoing employees to WeAreCareer on repeated occasions to streamline future transitions and improve the employee experience during workforce changes.


Solution and Approach
WeAreCareer delivered a blended outplacement program combining personalized career coaching, profile optimization services, and technology-enabled support through the WeAreCareer software portal. Each participant received one-on-one coaching sessions focused on career strategy, interview preparation, job search planning, and confidence rebuilding during the transition process.

Our team also supported candidates with professionally optimized English CVs, LinkedIn profiles, and career branding materials designed to improve interview conversion rates and align with international hiring standards. Since many participants were based in the Netherlands, candidates additionally leveraged AI-powered translation workflows to localize and adapt their career documents into Dutch versions when needed.

To create a more modern and transparent experience for both participants and stakeholders, candidates were onboarded into the WeAreCareer portal where they received live communication support, access to career resources and training materials, and structured progress tracking throughout the program. The company also had optional access to reporting dashboards and engagement insights to monitor overall program participation, activity levels, and progress across the engagement.

Results

The partnership between Sympower and WeAreCareer resulted in strong participant engagement, positive transition outcomes, and successful role placements across the program. Participants actively utilized the WeAreCareer platform, career resources, and coaching support throughout their transition journey, leading to high completion and placement outcomes.
